BREEDING CONTRACT - EQUINE PARK - CORNELL UNIVERSITY _______________ SEASON   STALLION________________________ BOOKING FEE__________________________ MARE____________________________ BREEDING FEE_________________________ AGE________BREED____________COLOR_________________ID#________________ This contract must be completed before this mare will be bred. Non-refundable annual Booking Fee is due before mare is bred. Breeding Fee shall be payable at pregnancy diagnosis not later than sixty (60) days after last breeding. Board rate and veterinary fees are payable at time of discharge. Special diagnostic and terapeutic procedures such as biopsy, endoscopy, hormone therapy, or other treatments will be charged as necessary. LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE: The breeding is guaranteed for a foal that is born alive and stands and nurses for 24 hours. Return privileges are guaranteed for the next breeding season if the mare fails to produce a live foal, providing the stallion is available. The mare owner may 1) request to substitute an acceptable mare during the next breeding season, or 2) request a refund of the breeding fee prior to the end of the next breeding season. Cornell will make every reasonable effort to contact the owner by telephone in the event of an emergency. The owner of an insured mare must provide information regarding the company and policy at the time of arrival. Cornell shall not be liable for damage or loss caused by circumstances beyond the control of Cornell.
